What we collect
When you complete a Protection Compass review, we collect the answers you provide about your household, income, mortgage, debt, savings, existing coverage, and protection goals. If you choose to share contact details (name, email, phone), we store those so Robert can follow up. If you request a personalized plan, we also collect the details you provide about height, weight, health flags, medications, and driving history.
How we use it
Your information is used for one purpose: so Robert can review your situation and follow up with a personalized recommendation. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing. We do not run ad-targeting or analytics that share your data with advertising networks.
We send transactional emails directly tied to your actions — a confirmation after you complete a review, a resume link if you save progress, and follow-ups from Robert. We do not send marketing newsletters. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link that adds you to our suppression list and blocks future sends.
Retention
Saved-but-incomplete reviews ("drafts") are kept for 30 days and then permanently deleted. Completed reviews are retained so Robert can follow up with you over time. You can request deletion at any time by emailing us at the address below.
Security
Your data is stored in an encrypted-at-rest Postgres database. Access is limited to Robert and approved team members and is protected by authentication and row-level security policies. We never expose your contact information through public APIs.
Your rights
You can request a copy of the information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email robertsaldivar@gmail.com and we'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Not insurance advice
The figures shown in your review are educational estimates, not a quote, approval, or recommendation to purchase a specific policy. Final coverage, pricing, riders, and approval depend on carrier underwriting, state availability, and official policy terms.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
